    Yes i know opel = vauxhall, but opel is main brand, opel was out there before vauxhall and opel creates all the cars. Vauxhall just puts their badge on.

    opel and vauxhall is the same thing, except vauxhall has the vxr8 (you’d know it as the pontiac g8, except theirs has more power)

    it all depends on what you need/want out of a car. i like hatchbacks and in my opinion it is of way better value than the other ones. better gas mileage, plenty of space, etc. there are a lot of people that like the rabbit/golf/gti better and i understand that. i bought the astra for gas mileage and in my opinion a better overall feel. everything in the rabbit/golf is way too far from the driver imo. i’m frickin’ 6′2″ and i’m saying that. btw anybody that bitches about the backseat is a fatass

    Wether you’ve driven those cars or not doesn’t change the fact that this is a bad car. If you HAD driven the competition, the Golf, Megane, Focus, Leon etc you would realise how behind this car is with the standards it should meet, every car show and review agrees so don’t fucking talk like some damn car guru, the fact that you’ve owned 23 differnt cars doesnt mean you know so much about them. My mom has owned her selection of car’s and she doesnt know anything about them ffs. What do you drive?

    you know whats funny, its the same exact car as the vauxhall/opel astra. your intelligence amazes me, they just imported the car to the USA. and i am seriously considering this car, you wanna know why? because there is a 2008 three door model fully loaded used with 650 miles on it for $12,999, or about 6500 pounds. this car is an insane deal over here.
