A hybrid-electric vehicle, or HEV, combines an electrical energy storage systems in a laborious way of generating electrical energy, usually by using some type of fuel. Each type of HEV has its own operating quality and chosen design practices, as well as advantages and disadvantages.

The development of interior ignition engine vehicles, especially vehicles, is one of the supreme achievements of modern technology as a new rising energy saving and environment-friendly vehicles, that’s the reason why the hybrid-electric vehicles are designed to provide comfort to each person.

In the process of creating the hybrid electric vehicle, the most important is energy saving and environmental protection. Nowadays it is where the common problems faced by society.

The presence of hybrid-electric cars changed from electric vehicles. However, the main disadvantage of electric vehicles is that it is largely dependent on batteries. Therefore, have limited range.

First of all, the hybrid electric vehicle must be an electric vehicle with batteries for power and storage is also equipped with an on-board heat engine-powered generator. This means that this type of hybrid has an extended range.

The heat power engine and battery power are specifically intended as an important scheme that constantly modulates the excess between the heat engine and the battery power system. It also depends on the driving schedule.

Since the beginning of the use of automobiles, electric cars have been recognized and conceptualized. Although the electric power train is better in various aspects, as an energy source, the battery is not the same super-energy content, convenience in terms of handling, and inexpensive and profuse supplies motor fuel.

Now, it’s almost a century since the electric car has been popularly discussed, but recent developments in the HEV technology and the growing concern for the environment is revived the drive for an HEV and this has become a realization today.

We can consider the personal means of transportation as a very important bond in the economic shackles of modern society and a private vehicle appears to be popular choices.

Electric vehicles are more energy efficient than the contemporary vehicles electric vehicle which runs approximately 46 percent of effectiveness, while a contemporary vehicle operates at about 18 percent only.

There are studies that generally concludes that electric cars with batteries are approximately 10-30 percent more energy efficient than the usual gasoline cars, depending on the exact assumptions of the vehicles energy usage and energy chain efficiency.

Certainly, the comparison of electric vehicles and conventional vehicles are comparisons between an over-built power system is almost at the end of its research and development, and the innovative power system in the beginning stages of development where important progress can be expected as new technology evolves.

Furthermore, the advantages of electric powered modes of transportation extends beyond the true outlook of economizing energy. Electric generation plants can use substitute fuels that are not adaptable to portable system power.

Electric vehicles are the definitive alternative fuel vehicles because their power is taken from the source fuels utilized to produce electricity. Besides that, the flexibility of the fuel alone can offer important useful and economic advantages especially in relation to a variety of sources of energy.

The electric car is truly a promising technology that can transform the mode of transportation into a more environmentally type of commodity. With this innovation emission controls become more important, effective and economically beneficial.

This electric car can do 0-60 3.07 sec!

Only about 15% of the energy from the fuel you put in your tank gets used to move your car down the road or run useful accessories, such as air conditioning. The rest of the energy is lost to engine and driveline inefficiencies and idling. Therefore, the potential to improve fuel efficiency with advanced technologies is enormous. With an Electric Car it costs just .00 per 100kms with MUCH more performance than with petrol at .00 per 100kms. Electric Car FASTER THAN A FERRARI ENZO 0-60 3.07 sec! Welcome to the third installment. It’s taken a bit of preparation time, which is essential rather than diving in to find something we’ve done is not quite right – both Nathan and I have been guilty in the past of making stuff only to discover a better way of doing it. But parts availability has been the biggest issue; delivery time has been long delayed for many reasons too complicated to discuss here. In this video we re-assess engine bay mounting; most of the battery racks are welded up now and the battery management has arrived (except the master unit, d’oh!). We discuss battery management, the most efficient use of space in the engine bay, as well as the AC motor we received that will drive the air-con/power steering. (btw, the AC motor and BMS come from www.bev.com.au where they are custom-made). Also an older previously unused segment stripped in about removing weight, as this is crucial in gaining mileage. Oh, and a mention of power cabling which we will try to get through some of the sub-frame rather than running under the vehicle or lumping under the carpet (as the power cable sits inside a plastic flex conduit roughly an inch diameter), so long as it’s legal which we’ll check with someone who knows (guessing it’s something like 600mm distance between u-clamp affixing). The Zivan will sit in trunk/hatch area to the left near the charging ‘fuel’ port; not sure about tire placement yet, but it looks like we’ll keep our back seat which is good thing (and did you …

The Tesla Model S was unveiled in California on the 26th of March and was quite impressive. With a 300-mile range on a single charge, 5 seats and a recharge-time of 45 minutes it’s basically the first real electric car for everyone. Perhaps the most interesting part is the price which is more than half the price of the Tesla Roadster. The Tesla Model S will cost 49 900 $ when delivery to customers starts in 2011. They are already planning a 3rd model which will cost only 30 000 $.
